working from home

Hiya,
I’m a stay at home mum to a 10mth old girl. I recently decided to stay at home and not return to work bascially because by the time I had paid childcare I barely broke even!! Anyone else in this position?

I have started working as an Usborne organiser to bring in some extra money and fortunately it’s going really well!! If anyone is interested in this they have a half price offer on for July, so need to be quick. I’m actually really enjoying the gorgeous books and taking them to places where I can take my lo! Such as toddler groups. I’m also enjoying the extra money (not making me rich yet, but it all helps!!)
Anyone else work from home? How are you finding it?

Childcare prices are through the roof, I found an au pair to be a practical solution (if your interested, click on my name and go to ‘other posts’ and find it in there somewhere) as they cost around £30-60 a week depending on where they come from and how many children they are caring for. You would also need a spare room.
Good luck with it!

I’m really enjoying it. I love children’s books so thought it would be a good thing to do! There are no more fees once you join. It’s usually £38 but this month is only £19.
What do you do?
It can be difficult finding time to do everything with a little one around……….afternoon naps are bliss!! hehe!!
